This is where barrier meets head. With tragic consequences. Thunderbolts shooting out of your head. This raises a point, does the barrier hit cause the thunderbolt hairstyle, or does the thunderbolt hair cause the hit?

Lifting  a box while having a ninja use your back for a throwing star target seems like a bad idea. And this sign is pointing out just that. However, using your knees will do the trick!

So, here you are again in the perilous situation you are no doubt familiar with by now… Fire. At the top of the stairs. What to do? Casually walk down the stairs pretending like nothing’s wrong, of course. Just like before. Preferably slowly.

You are, no doubt, familiar with the surgeon general warnings on cigarette packs in the US. Well, you have never quite seen it like this. This is the warning on the Romanian cigarette pack. The translation, I am not kidding, is this: “Smoking can cause a slow and painful death.” Direct and to the point.

Say you are in an airport. In Netherlands. And you are tired of just sitting around waiting for your flight, listening to some old lady complain about this and that. There is no better time than this to get into the metal squat-boxes provided thoughtfully by the airport and get some exercise. So it happens, the metal squat-boxes are right next to the stairs, making for a great exercise area.
The Dutch. They really do think of everything.

Finally, the world over is waking to the evils of Axe spray. This is a warning against it’s use and it’s awful side-effects (supermodel hordes stampeding geeky bike messenger guys). Please, consider carefully the environment and the damage you can cause before casual Axe use. (Picture the headlines: “Grandmother and toddler trampled by models!”)

Whenever you see an icon / pictogram out there, you know (maybe) that someone designed it. Getting in the designer’s head to figure out a reason why they did what they did to get across the message can, at times be fun. It’s never pleasant stuff. It nearly always deals with some kind of pain, danger, or just plain: “DON’T DO IT, OR ELSE!” advice.
